Privacy Policy

• Account information: name, email, password (stored hashed), and the role you sign up under (parent, coach, club manager, athlete).
• Athlete profiles: name, year of birth, gender, dominant foot, jersey number, and which clubs or teams the athlete belongs to.
• Drill captures: short videos of athletes performing drills, plus the analyzer-derived metrics (sprint times, ball touches, etc.). Videos are stored in encrypted cloud storage.
• Usage information: pages visited, features used, error logs. We do not use third-party analytics tracking pixels.
• Payment information: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card number on our servers.

• To provide the analysis and stats you sign up for.
• To let coaches and parents linked to an athlete view that athlete's captures.
• To process subscription payments through Stripe.
• To improve the analyzer's accuracy. Anonymized capture metrics may be used to refine our models; raw videos are never used for model training without your explicit consent.
• To respond to support requests and notify you about important account or service changes.

Footy Skillz is intentionally used by children's sports organizations. For athletes under 13, a parent or legal guardian creates and manages the athlete's profile. We do not allow under-13 athletes to create their own accounts directly. The parent or guardian decides:

• Whether to make the athlete's profile public.
• Whether to share the athlete's history with a new club when transferring.
• When to request deletion of their child's data.

Public profiles default to private. Making a profile public requires explicit parental consent and is recorded on the account for COPPA compliance.

• Cloud infrastructure: Google Cloud (storage and analysis), Vercel (web hosting), Firebase (auth and database). All providers operate under data-processing agreements.
• Payment processor: Stripe handles billing.
• Coaches and clubs you join: coaches with an approved membership at your club can see athlete metrics and videos for athletes on their team. This is the core feature of the product.
• Legal requests: we may disclose data when required by law or to protect against fraud, abuse, or harm.

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for non-essential processing.
• Lodge a complaint with your local privacy regulator (in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner).
